Wanted - Artist Seeks View of the City

Thank you all for coming out to Sue Greenwood. It was great meeting new faces as well as seeing familiar ones. The show remains open until June 29, and check out the June issue of American Art Collector.

Currently, I am busy working towards the fall. I am searching for new material, and am hoping that you might be able to help.

Do you live in San Francisco or NYC? Do you have a breathtaking view of the city, or have access to your rooftop? Ever think to yourself that looks like one of Kim's paintings?

I would love to take a look, I prefer older aged weathered buildings and to view them different times of day. I am preparing to visit NYC mid July in hope to meet new faces and find new subjects.

If you have any recommendations, please email info@kimcogan.com.

Hey Kim, I saw an old pic of your stretcher bars. What type of wood do you use. I've been making my own stretchers for a while, and have tried a few different methods and materials. Always looking for new ideas.

We actually own this painting now. It's stunning-the more you look the more you see. As light on the painting increases, the lights in the windows appear to turn on and it looks more like a window instead of a canvas...

Thank you Kim Cogan!
